Check out my video reel of work done while a student at AU. Projects range from simple mixing and noise reduction to detailed sound design, sync, and recomposition. Some clips were arranged in Final Cut Pro7 to highlight some of the work done throughout each film. However, those that are left to their full running times were projects that were composed from almost nothing. All work incorporated the use of Pro Tools HD, and in some cases a Control 24 Workstation. Techniques include: foley recording, sync audio, EQ manipulation, use of X-Noise plug-ins, and sound design. It is my hope that you find them imaginative, balanced, and enjoyable.

Pd Star Wars
Aside from the bookends of the FANTASTIC, traditional, John Williams score to open and close the film, the rest of this short movie was done entirely in Pd (Pure Data). Pure Data is a sound synthesis program that uses command and creation arguments to create artificial sound. This short movie is meant to pay homage to the great sound designers like Ben Burtt and Miller Puckett.
The Fat Foley Movie
Originally, this movie was totally silent. I added the sound for a school project.
Fat Mike's Blastwave Movie
This project utilized footage from the annual Blastwave competition as a means of learning ProTools software. The original picture was silent and all sounds were created from scratch using a "bank" of effects.
